The Bogotá Tourism Institute (IDT) provides a network of Tourist Information Points (TIPs) for local and international tourists, visitors from the region, and Bogotá residents. These are strategically placed at air and bus terminals, and in tourist interest zones.

Staffed by professional tourism guides and bilingual information officers, these TIPs offer free, current tourist information and guidance. They cover Bogotá's tourist, cultural, recreational, and sports offerings, as well as those of the surrounding region.

Currently, there are five operational points, known for offering personalized, comprehensive service to tourists, visitors, and residents. They provide updated general information on events, attractions, itinerary planning, mobility, transport, and historical and thematic tours.
